A Tuscan Dream Wedding in Hungary
Brigi & Dani’s Wedding at Ivica Porta

and my first wedding where I not only took photos, but was also a wedding content creator

When Brigi and Dani planned their wedding at Ivica Porta near Pécs, they had a vision in mind — a day that would feel like a slice of Tuscany in Hungary. As someone who’s always had a soft spot for Italian vibes, I knew this was going to be special. Ivica Porta had been on my wedding venue bucket list, and the August celebration didn’t disappoint. The venue, especially around sunset, looked exactly like the rolling hills of Tuscany, with a twist of Provence and a dash of Spanish charm.

Brigi discovered me on TikTok, which still blows my mind (the power of social media is incredible). She already had a photographer and videographer lined up, but she reached out asking if I could be her wedding content creator (I will write about it a bit longer at the end of the blogpost).

Although this isn’t yet a big thing in Hungary, I’m all about trying new stuff, so I immediately said yes. We also agreed that I could bring my camera along to capture a few moments through my own lens. Balancing both roles was a challenge, but thanks to a handy mobile phone holder attached to my camera's hot shoe, I managed to juggle content creation and photography.

The whole day was a dream come true for any Italy lover. The open-air dinner table, the live music, the fresh pasta bar, and even a limoncello stand—it all felt like I was in the heart of Tuscany. The couple truly made the day their own, with modern, stylish touches like a film camera corner, a tattoo stand, and a cigar lounge. It wasn’t your typical Hungarian wedding, and that’s what made it so cool. Brigi’s wedding dress, with its long veil, was another standout, adding to the day’s elegant vibe.

Brigi and Dani’s wedding was proof that social media can bring you amazing connections and opportunities.
And let’s be real — spending a day in a Tuscan fairytale right here in Hungary? That’s something I won’t forget anytime soon.

What is a Wedding Content Creator, and Why You Might Want One

The role of a wedding content creator is one of the freshest and most exciting trends in the wedding industry today. But what exactly does a wedding content creator do, and how can they add value to your big day?

A New Way to Capture Your Big Day

Wedding content creators offering a fresh perspective on how couples can document their special day. While photography and videography mostly focus on capturing the bigger moments, a wedding content creator is all about sharing the smaller, behind-the-scenes magic as it happens.

Tailored for Social Media

In today’s digital age, social media plays a huge role in how we share and remember our lives. A wedding content creator knows how to capture moments that are perfect for your online presence. Think aesthetically pleasing photos, short video clips, and creative angles that resonate with your personal style and are sure to make your wedding go viral (in the best way).

When Should You Hire a Wedding Content Creator?

If social media is a big part of your life and you love the idea of sharing your wedding day with your online community as it happens, a wedding content creator could be a perfect fit. They’re also great for couples who want to make sure every little detail is captured, from the grand moments to the small, spontaneous ones and have the latest trends. While it’s a role that’s gaining traction, it’s especially beneficial for those looking to add a modern, dynamic layer to their wedding documentation.

Balancing Photography and Content Creation

As a photographer who recently tried out the content creator role (what a fun role to step into), I can say that while it’s exciting and fun, my primary focus is still on photography, capturing those timeless moments that you’ll look back on for years. However, content creation adds an exciting new dimension to wedding documentation. It’s something I might consider offering more of in the future, it was an exciting experience, and I’m always up for adding new dimensions to my work but for now, my heart still belongs to my camera.
