Capturing Love in the Eternal City

A Dreamy Summer Couple's Shoot in Rome

This June, I had the incredible opportunity to be part of a photography workshop in Rome, organized by the talented Niki of Natural Sentiments.

Rome, with its timeless charm, always holds a special place in my heart, and every visit feels like a new adventure. I was lucky to join a crew of super passionate photographers, all of us pumped to capture the magic of love in this incredible city.

Roma mia, quanto sei bella, con le tue colline eterne e pietre antiche, come resisti al passare del tempo, mentre la storia scorre nelle tue vene.

Our couple for the shoot was the lovely Anna and Illes.
Anna, a talented fashion designer, brought a unique touch to the session with a stunning wedding dress she created herself. You can check out her beautiful work at Anna Jonas.

We kicked off the shoot with a sunset-to-night vibe around Vatican City and Castel Sant'Angelo. The city lit up in a magical way, and we had a blast playing with flash photography to capture Anna and Illes’ love against Rome’s glowing streets. The whole scene was straight-up enchanting.

The next morning, we got up with the sunrise for a chill session at Piazza del Popolo. The soft, golden light made the square look like something out of a dream, creating the ultimate vibe for romantic shots. As we strolled through Rome’s iconic streets, Anna and Illes were total pros, making every moment look effortlessly stunning and Insta-worthy.

Being part of this workshop was an incredible experience. I loved connecting with fellow photographers and diving into our shared passion for capturing love stories.

On the last day, I decided to shake things up and organized three mini city photo shoots. It was a fresh challenge for me, but definitely one of the trip's highlights. I met some incredible couples, and I’m stoked to share their stories and photos with you soon!

Rome continues to inspire me, and I know I'll be back again—especially after each visit to the Trevi Fountain, where I make sure to toss a coin to guarantee my return.

This experience was a beautiful reminder of why I love photography, and I’m excited to share more of these unforgettable moments with you.

Are you inspired and want a photoshoot in Rome too? Write me and let’s make it happen!
